I'm at our neighbors 'cause M&D are in Walla Walla at the penn. Not to stay, there's a powwow down their and some of our boys are in that hell-hole. Mostly to stay for good. I'm not allowed to go, being a minor. So.

-and then Spock felt the raw, instinctive urge to mate that he must have gotten from his mother. He slowly slipped out of his heeled boots, only to find that Saavik had done the same. Then, slowly, she rose against him and pulled her shoulders out of her jacket, before reaching up and doing the same for him. Then Spock saw a glint of mischievous curiosity in her dark eyes, and then her hands were at his shirt, pulling it off. She wriggled out of hers, exposing her under-uniform. Spock decided to work on the pants, which came off easily enough. The under-uniforms went the same way, and soon they were naked in the bed, Spock on top of Saavik with a pretty good erection. Saavik was ready for him, though she was a tiny bit nervous deep down inside, but she hardly noticed it through the yearning. When his emerald green organ touched the outside of hers, her body spasmed and she felt damp all over, though she knew it wasn't orgasm. Then she lost all salient thoughts and Spock slid gently inside of her.
They moved between the sheets, finding a rhythm suitable for both of them. When they found it, Saavik really did have an orgasm, so powerful that she almost crushed Spock as she pressed him too her, nearly in pain with ecstasy. Spock knew what had happened, and the thought of it made him come too, the orgasm starting in his mind and traveling all down his spine. When it reached his genitals it took charge and blasted hot, thick semen into Saavik. She wriggled and giggled, not used to to the strange sensation. They kept moving, and then, almost in a dream, they reached to the others psi points and melded, in body and soul. The bond was strengthened when they came simultaneously, and they could see the others' "stars" in their minds. They slowed to a halt soon after that, and fell asleep, warm body curled around warm body.
Saavik awoke first next morning. She rose, was surprised to find herself naked in unfamiliar quarters- and then she saw Spock's dark head on the pillow, the sheet covering his nude form. She smiled and went to find the bathroom.
Spock came into the bathroom while Saavik was having a sonic shower, and knocked on the frosted door. She opened it, and he stepped in with her, enjoying the soothing sensation of being cleaned. This was made all more pleasing when Saavik kissed him, and soon they were turning off the shower and going back to the bed. When they surfaced again, Spock got Saavik a robe while he washed and dressed, for he knew that while they were both naked, they would never get anything done. When Spock was out of the shower and in uniform, Saavik showered, and while she was getting dressed a call came in.
"Bridge to Spock. Bridge to Spock."
"On screen."
Kirk came on.
"Spock, where the hell are you?"
"Forgive me Admiral. I have appeared to overslept." Which was not a lie- they had slept quite a bit later than usual.
"Overslept? Spock, are you ill?"
"No Admiral."
"Well... when can we expect you?"
"I was leaving when your call came."
"Right...Spock- is there- is there someone else in your quarters?"
"Sir?"
"I thought I heard something."
Saavik, knowing that Spock could not lie, ran out the door, avoiding the screen. Once outside, she waited, listening.
"No Admiral."
"Right... by the way, is that Lieutenant Saavik in sickbay? Only I can't find her anywhere."
Saavik chose this moment to press the entry button.
"Excuse me sir- someone is at my door."
Spock moved away to let Saavik back in.
"It is Saavik, sir. We will both leave for the bridge at once."
"Right- good. Kirk out," he closed, after trying (and failing) to read the Vulcan's eyes.
"It appears we are both wanted on the bridge, Saavikam."
"Yes sir." Saavik answered seriously, but Spock felt the tease in his mind. They turned and walked out, together this time.

On the bridge, Kirk was watching Spock with some concern. Spock had never overslept before, never! And he seemed- well- if Kirk hadn't have known better, he would have said that Spock was preoccupied. His long fingers weren't as nimble as they usually were, and though he had not actually made a mistake yet, he had come close several times. Saavik was different too. She seemed happier than she had in recent weeks. In fact, Kirk realized, she was the happiest she had ever been since her arrival on the Enterprise. Good news from home? Kirk thought. Or- something else?
- - - - - - - - -
That night, Kirk waited for the mess hall to empty, holding Spock back.
"Spock- I want you to report to sickbay."
"Sickbay, sir?"
"Jim, Spock. Yes, I want you to get a physical. Bones has got it all set up, he just needs you."
"Jim, I must say that I am in immaculate health."
"All the same. You once said you were fine before, Spock, and you were actually dying. Report to sickbay- and that's an order."
And on that note, Kirk left.
Spock stood in the empty room for a few seconds, pondering. Then had no choice but to go to sickbay.
"Well now, there's the sick little Vulcan." said McCoy the instant Spock stepped into the room.
"I can assure you that I am in perfect health, Doctor."
"Jim doesn't think so, and from what he tells me you sound pretty damn sick!"
"Doctor-"
"No arguments. Get on that scanner. I've orders to send the results to Jim."
And Spock had no choice again. The scanner will give a detailed list of all my "activities" within the past 48 hours. He will know- but Saavik will not be harmed. It cannot know whom I mated with.
McCoy flipped on the scanner and waited for the print out. It took a few minutes, but soon the good doctor was holding two sheets of paper, both printed with tiny writing.
"Okay, first day was pretty normal for you. Next day- also normal, had meals, but it looks like you didn't slee-"
He broke off and reread the few lines of text. And re-reread it. Then he looked down at the Vulcan, who was looking steadily back at him. McCoy's mouth opened, and then shut again. He read it yet again.
"My God- well, Spock- you seem to have me at a loss for words."
"That is rare, Doctor."
This was, normally, asking for a insult, but McCoy was too shook up to give one.
"Can- can you explain this?" he asked, handing Spock the sheet.
Engaged in coitus for two hours, multiple orgasms. Slept. Woke. Eliminated wastes. Engaged in coitus for an hour, multiple orgasms. Consumed fruits and liquids. Engaged brain in activity- and here Spock stopped reading, for he knew what he had done for his work.
"What is there to explain, Doctor?"
"Well- it's just.... I never would have expected it. Not of you. And especially not while on the ship! My God... who was she?"
"I would rather not answer that, Doctor."
"Why?! You know the rules better than I do!"
"Precisely, Doctor."
"But then..... oh. Oh... I see. Dammit Spock, did it have to be that hybrid? You could have chosen anyone else and you had to choose the Vulcan-Romulan girl?!"
"Doctor, I could have 'chosen', as you put it, no other. She also chose me."
"But she's a new recruit! Sure, having sex is a great way of getting to know each other, but it's not you!"
"I have known Saavik since she was a small child on Vulcan."
"Ah."
"And Doctor- may I say that I was a little surprised myself?"
"Surprised? You?! You, Mr. I-Can-Read-Your-Brain-Patterns? How could you be surprised?"
"Not easily, Doctor. Now, it you don't have any other use for me. I will go resign." Spock stood up and tugged on his jacket.
"Wha- resign?! Why in hell do you need to resign?!"
"I have broken regulation 23.6, Doctor. That 'no romantic or sexual relationships shall begin or be nurtured whilst on board the Starship.'"
"I see."
There was an uncomfortable moment while McCoy looked at the abandoned sheets of paper, re-reading the condemning lines.
"Spock-"
"Yes, Doctor?"
"Never mind. Your mind is made up, then?"
"Yes Doctor. I would rather resign than be discharged."
"Well- what about what's-her-name?"
"Doctor?"
"Saavik. What about her?"
"She is not incriminated by the readout."
"But isn't she breaking the regulation too?"
"Yes Doctor, but she can make the decision whether or not to resign as well."
"Which would you rather?"
Silence.
"Logically, I would see her resign for breaking the regulation."
"And illogically?"
Spock paused before answering.
"I would see her stay."
"I see," McCoy said again.
"And now, Doctor, I bid you goodbye."
"Aren't you going to say goodbye to Saavik?"
"Perhaps. Live long and prosper."
And giving the Vulcan salute, he left.
McCoy exhaled and looked at the paper. He couldn't let Spock leave. It would devastate Jim when he did; also he was bound to discover why Spock had resigned sooner or later. What can I do?
- - - - - - - - -
Spock was in his quarters, folding his uniform when the call came.
"Kirk to Spock. Kirk to Spock."
"On screen."
"Spock. Bones just sent me the results from your scan."
I wanted to resign first. "Yes, Admiral."
"And I wanted to apologize for making you have a scan."
"Sir?"
"You are in perfect health, apart from that little sleep issue. I was a little concerned that maybe you were in the- er- what was it?"
"The pon farr, sir?"
"Yes, I wondered if you were in pon farr again. But you are not."
"Yes Admiral."
Silence. Why isn't he discharging me?
"Oh, and by the way- perhaps you know what is wrong with Saavik?"
"Wrong, sir?" Spock said, startled out of his thoughts.
"Yes, she seems almost- vacant."
"I will ask her after the evening meal, but I suspect it is of unimportance."
"Right. By the way, why are you wearing your- uh, robe?" For Spock was wearing his black Vulcan attire, ready to leave. By way of answer, he treated his friend to a raised eyebrow, which seemed to have the desired effect on Kirk.
"Yes, yes, you have your reasons. Kirk out."
And the screen flashed off.
Spock leaned against the bed, puzzled. Had he read the wrong sheet? No, that was highly unlikely. He needed to go back to sickbay and re-read the paper. But first he had to change back to his uniform and find Saavik.
Ten minutes later, he and Saavik were locked in a passionate embrace. He could feel his hungry erection rising, and fought to keep his mind logical.
"Saavik- pleasing as it is to engage in coitus with you, it must wait until tonight. I must go to- I have some things to do. I came here to see if you were all right."
"Yes, I am fine."
"Then I will take my leave of you."
"Yes sir." But through their bond she said, See you tonight.
He startled McCoy so badly when he glided silently into sickbay that the good doctor dropped his Saurian Brandy.
"Dammit Spock, you snuck up on me!"
"My apologies. Doctor, I need to see the same read-out that the Admiral read."
"What you need is a.... (here the doctor mumbled to himself darkly.) It's over there on the scanner." Spock read the paper.
Slept for 8.2 hours, eliminated wastes, consumed fruits, engaged brain in activity of the right and left lobes... he stopped reading and looked up at McCoy, who was smirking.
"Why, Doctor?"
"Well, because I didn't want to see this ship lose the finest science officer I've ever known."
Spock raised an eyebrow, and McCoy hastened to add, "And Jim and the others would miss you- a lot."
Spock wasn't sure what to say to that. He glanced back down at the sheet.
"Thank you, Doctor."
"You're welcome, Spock."
Now they were both lost for words. After a few moments Spock turned and left, thinking.
He found Saavik by the bridge, testing some lights for the Admiral. He couldn't sneak up on her, though. She turned and stood at attention.
"At ease."
She relaxed and looked at Spock.
"I told the Admiral that I would ask you if you were all right."
"Yes, I am."
"He said you were almost vacant."
"I was a little distracted, yes. It did not affect my work."
"He wished to be sure that you are not ill."
"I can assure you that I am in perfect health, sir."
The corner of Spock's mouth twitched up for a few moments and he put his arm around Saavik. She had sounded exactly like him, trying to get out of the scan. They finished checking the lights and went to the dining hall for the evening meal, Spock removing his arm of course. They couldn't sit together at the table due to protocol, but they could still "talk" in their minds.
After the meal, Spock went to Kirk and asked to be excused for an early bed. Kirk, a little surprised, granted it.
"Making up for lost time, Spock?" Kirk was referring to the Vulcans slightly worrying lack of sleep, but inwardly Spock smiled.
"Yes Admiral. That is exactly what I am doing."
Another sequel coming soon!

OK, so was that bad or just sad?
I'm deffo not the best writer, and this was edited at four in the morning when I couldn't sleep, so there's probably a few mistakes somewhere.
Oh look, it's getting light outside! And I hear a chickadee singing already.
More soon.
Live Long And Prosper
